The ecological action was held within the framework of the volunteer project of interethnic concord “Beacons of friendship. Russia brings together”. It is being implemented in the districts of the Volga region from August 3 to August 18.
About 30 activists of the youth movement “Beacons of friendship” from Kazan, Moscow, and the Caucasus republics, representatives of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the RT and the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the RT became participants in the environmental action.
“The shore is strewn with rubbish. People left behind plastic and glass bottles and other waste. As environmentalists, we want to see the shore clean, of course”, said Dinar Khusainov, an inspector of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the RT.
The goal of the project “Beacons of Friendship. Russia brings together” is the development and strengthening of interethnic relations in the country through joint socially useful work. Volunteers participate in environmental activities and get acquainted with the traditions and culture of the regions. Then they actively talk about their impressions and observations on the Internet, reports the press service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the RT.
