More than 22 thousand tons of snow were removed from Kazan streets per day

603 road workers and 378 units of special equipment will be involved in cleaning the city today.

(KZN.RU, January 25). 22 thousand tons of snow were removed from Kazan streets over the past day. In total, 818 road workers and 894 units of special equipment were involved in work on the streets. 108 combined road machines, 83 CRM “Boschung”, 27 snow loaders, 141 brush tractors, 33 graders, 104 wheel loaders, 64 MKSM “Barsik”, 304 dump trucks, and others were among them.

1988 tons of anti-icing treatment were used on the roads of the Tatarstan’s capital for the day, including 205 tons of reagent and 1783 tons of sand-salt mixture.

According to the districts’ administrations, 603 road workers will go to the streets of Kazan for snow removal and 378 units of special equipment will be used today.

In total, more than 319.3 thousand tons of snow were removed from the streets of the city since the beginning of the winter period, reports the Committee for External Improvement.
