Over 2.5 thousand Kazan residents ran the Green Marathon

Rinat Kashapov and Olga Artemieva covered 10 km faster than others

Over 2.5 thousand people participated in the “Green Marathon” sports and family festival in Kazan. The race was held on the same day in 61 cities of Russia – 1 June.

In the Tatarstan capital, on the Kremlin embankment, children ran 420 m, and professional athletes – 4.2 and 10 km, the Ministry of Sport of the Republic of Tatarstan specified.

Adel Gafiatullin came first among men at the 4.2 km distance; Victoria Khabarova – among women. The Sandulovs couple were the best in the family race. Rinat Kashapov and Olga Artemieva outran others at 10 km.

The site with operating sports areas also hosted a concert featuring creative bands. Master classes and games were organised for the young residents of Kazan.
