The festival “Delicious Kazan” will be held in the capital of Tatarstan

<p> (KZN.RU, August 19, Ksenia Shvetsova). During the WorldSkills Kazan 2019, the festival “Delicious Kazan” will be held for the sixth time in the capital of Tatarstan from August 23 to 25. This year, more than 70 restaurants and cafes from different cities of Russia will take part in it, which will present visitors unique treats at the site near the Family Center “Kazan”. Daria Sannikova, the director of the Tourism Promotion Committee, announced it today at the Business Monday. </p> <p> </p> <p> This year, the festival “Delicious Kazan” will be divided into thematic zones. A separate site will be reserved for Tatar cuisine, where the leading national restaurants and cafes of the city will present their dishes to guests. Every day there will be master classes on cooking various dishes, tastings, competitions, and performances by bands. </p> <p> </p> <p> Various cuisines of the world will be presented on a separate site: European, Mediterranean, Caucasian, Asian, American, and Japanese. Visitors will also have master classes and presentations of unusual recipes. Each hour of work of this zone will be dedicated to a certain geographical point of the world. During this hour, it will be possible to learn interesting facts and try dishes of a certain country. The next area is street food and a kitchen on wheels. It will delight guests with the philosophy of fast food, a selection of dishes and themed activities. A battle of burgers will be organized there. This area will host the music stage. </p> <p> </p> <p> A separate area will be devoted to sweets and drinks. Guests can enjoy the city’s best pastries and sweets, as well as tea, coffee, and other delicious drinks. </p> <p> </p> <p> The farm alley will present the guests of the festival with a variety of natural products: from cheeses and honey to bread and sausages. There will be master classes on cheese making and home-cooked natural products. </p> <p> </p> <p> The zone “Gifts of Kazan” present handmade souvenirs. A souvenir auction and a “happy minute” will also be organized there, during which the goods can be purchased at a discount. </p> <p> </p> <p> In the lecture area, interesting guests and speakers will present various treats and hold master classes on catering. Young visitors are invited to the children's area. </p> <p> </p> <p> “Everyone will be able to take part in a quest designed specifically for the festival. The highlight of the event will be the presentation of the Kazan cake. Guests will try and purchase an unusual treat”, said Daria Sannikova. “A comfortable zone for 500 seats is organized for the convenience of visitors. We invite all residents and guests of our city to the festival”. </p> <p> </p> <p> Traditionally, festival guests will choose the most delicious restaurant, and competition among chefs will reveal the most skilled and talented chef of the city. </p> <p> </p> <p> Last year, the “festival “Delicious Kazan” received the Russian Event Awards Grand Prix of the Russian national event tourism in the nomination “The Best Tourism Event in the Field of Gastronomic Tourism”. The National Geographic magazine named the festival one of the main gastronomic events in Russia. </p>
