The artists of the Tatar Musa Jalil State Theater of Opera and Ballet became the winners of the BraVo award

The award ceremony took place at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow

Prima ballerina Amanda Gomez and Premier Wagner Carvalho of the Tatar Musa Jalil Theater of Opera and Ballet won the international BraVo Award. The award ceremony took place at the Bolshoi Theatre.

The artists won the award in the nomination “Performer of the Year”. At the gala concert of the ceremony, the soloists performed a duet from Romeo and Juliet by Sergei Prokofiev.

Artists from Russia, Brazil, China, India, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, Egypt, Serbia and Belarus attended the ceremony.

Amanda Gomez and Wagner Carvalho are graduates of the Bolshoi Theater School in Brazil, and now they are the leading soloists of the Tatar Musa Jalil Theater of Opera and Ballet.

The BraVo Award was established in 2018 for achievements in the classical and popular music. The independent public award covers dozens of countries. Sophia Loren, Vincent Cassel, Helen Mirren, John Travolta, Alessandro Safina, Angela Georgiou, Denis Matsuev, Yuri Bashmet and many others have become honorary guests and participants of the award over the years.
