Alina Zagitova may become an ambassador of the BRICS Games in Kazan

<p> An offer to become an ambassador of the BRICS Games in Kazan will be made to Olympic figure skating champion Alina Zagitova. This was announced at the Russia –Country of Sports Forum by the Tatarstan Minister of Sports Vladimir Leonov. </p> <p> The BRICS Games will take place in the capital of Tatarstan on 12-23 June 2024 in 25 sports. It is planned to invite athletes from about 70 countries. </p> <p> For reference, the BRICS summit will be held in the capital of the republic of Tatarstan in autumn 2024. The event will bring together more than 20 leaders of the countries. </p> <p> Currently, the BRICS unites five states: Russia, China, India, Brazil and South Africa. </p>
