Albert Salikhov heads the administration of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts of Kazan

The Mayor of the city Ilsur Metshin introduced the new head.

Albert Salikhov, who headed the Committee of Physical Culture and Sports of the Executive Committee for the past three years, was appointed the head of the administration of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts of Kazan. Today, the Mayor of the capital of the republic of Tatarstan Ilsur Metshin introduced the new head.

The Mayor of Kazan reminded that Albert Salikhov joined the Physical Education and Sports Committee in 2008, and then worked at the sports venues of the city. In 2019, he won the competition for the position of head of the Physical Education and Sports Committee.

“Everything he promised during the competition procedure has now been implemented. Today Kazan is a sports Mecca where people come to learn from experience, and we share our knowledge and mistakes. I have noticed the fact that delegations come to us to study sports experience,”- the Mayor stressed.

“Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts are the heart of the capital of Tatarstan, where the main universities and enterprises are located. It is always more challenging to work here than in other districts. Nevertheless, the administration staff always found a new way, preserving traditions.

Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts have been significantly improved, you have always been at the forefront. Thank you for your work,”- Ilsur Metshin addressed the administration staff.

“The appointment of Albert Salikhov head of the district administration is a great trust. We hope that this trust will be implemented in a new vector of development. I ask you to support the new head and continue the creative way together,”- the Mayor said.

The main government agencies, organizations, enterprises and institutions of various spheres are located in these districts, this is a great responsibility and motivation for work. I have a lot to learn and delve. The administration has a large powerful team that can achieve any results. I am sure that together with the team all the tasks will be completed,”- A. Salikhov said.

For reference, Marat Zakirov, who previously headed the administration of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts, moved to work to the all-Russian movement of children and youth.

Together with Damir Fattakhov, Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, co-

chairman of the Russian Movement of Schoolchildren, he will be in charge of the moral and patriotic education of children.

Albert Irshatovich Salikhov was born on September 3, 1986 in Aktanysh, Aktanyshsky district of the TASSR.

In 2008 he graduated from Kazan State Technological University with a degree in engineering.

2006-2008 - a system administrator in Zelenodolsk.

2008-2011 – leading specialist of the educational and sports department of the Committee of Physical Culture and Sports of the Executive Committee of Kazan.

2011-2017 – Director of the “Spektr” children sports school in Kazan.

2017-2019 - Director of the “Raketa” Sports and recreation complex, Kazan.

2019-2022 – Chair of the Committee of Physical Culture and Sports of Kazan;

Since November 11, 2022 – Head of the administration of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts of Kazan.

He has the class rank of municipal councilor of the 2nd class.

He was awarded the Gratitude of the Mayor of Kazan (2013), the commemorative medal XXVII World Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan (2014), the commemorative medal XXII Olympic Winter Games and XI Paralympic Winter Games 2014 in Sochi (2014), the badge “High achiever of physical culture and sports of Tatarstan" (2016), honorary badge “For merits in the development of physical culture and sports in the republic of Tatarstan” (2021).
