The Immortal Regiment event will be held online again this year

Under the stable epidemiological situation, the organizers plan to hold the procession in the traditional format.

This year, the Immortal Regiment civil event will again be held in an online format. This was announced yesterday at a press conference at the Russia Today News Agency by the co-chair of the Immortal Regiment of Russia organization Elena Tsunaeva.

According to her, each entity of the Russian Federation will broadcast the event. Municipal TV channels, media facades and outdoor screens will display photos of veterans. Last year, due to the large number of applications, the campaign was extended for 20 days. At that time, about 3 million applications were submitted.

Under the stable epidemiological situation, the organizers plan to hold the Immortal Regiment event once again in the traditional format. The precession is tentatively scheduled for 24 June.

The Immortal Regiment online event will start on 9 May at 15:00.
