“Ak Bars” invites fans to the anniversary match

The Kazan team will play against “Torpedo” in the champion's retro form.

(KZN.RU, February 21). “Ak Bars” will hold the final home match of the regular season KHL 2017/18 against Nizhny Novgorod “Torpedo” on February 27.

In 1998, “Ak Bars” won the title of the champion of Russia for the first time, and the game with “Torpedo” will be thematic in honor of the 20th anniversary of the event. On February 27, the team will wear the retro form on the ice, which they used to wear in the champion years. In addition, ex-players of “Ak Bars”, coaches and staff, all those who helped to forge their gold, will gather in the “Tatneft Arena”.

Also, the nominal banner of Yuri Moiseev, the coach who brought the Kazan club to the first championship, will be raised under the arena's dome in the framework of solemn events.

A separate entertainment unit will be organized for fans to immerse the audience in the atmosphere of those years. There will be music and retail outlet from the 90's, retro photo-zone, car exhibition, a tournament for console games “Dandy”, and much more.
