Ak Bars and CSKA will play in the match for the KHL Opening Cup

The match will take place in Moscow

The new season of the Kontinental Hockey League kickoffs today. The KHL Opening Cup will be played by CSKA Moscow and Ak Bars Kazan in Moscow at the CSKA Arena stadium at 19:00.

Artyom Galimov will miss the game as part of the Kazan team - he is injured.

Last season of the KHL, Ak Bars reached the final of the league and following the results of seven matches lost to CSKA.
