94 Kazan graduates passed the exam for 100 points this year

8 students collected the maximum score in two subjects at once.

(KZN.RU, July 16, Ksenia Shvetsova). In Kazan, 94 graduates passed a single state exam for 100 points this year. 8 students collected the maximum score in two subjects at once, and one graduate in three, said Rafis Burganov, the deputy prime minister of the RT and the minister of Education and Science of the RT, at a briefing at the Government House of the RT.

Compared to last year, the average score of the Unified State Exam in Tatarstan increased. The average score in literature increased by 8.8 points, in German almost by 7 points, in profile level mathematics by 6.3 points, in English by 3.7 points, in physics by 3.3 points, and in computer science by 3.27 points.

“In general, this year the results of Tatarstan graduates are higher than the average Russian ones”, noted R. Burganov. “The share of high scores on the overwhelming majority of subjects is increasing. They are almost 2 times more than the national average in profile mathematics, literature, and physics. The only exceptions are French and Chinese”.

The number of works rated at 100 points has increased this year; there are 199 in Tatarstan today.

In total, 181 graduates passed the exam for 100 points in the main period of the Unified State Exam in Tatarstan. In two subjects, 10 Tatarstan graduates scored maximum points, 8 of them were from Kazan (graduates of schools №131 and 177 and the IT-school at the KFU), and two more were from Baltasinsky and Zelenodolsky districts.

The maximum score in three subjects was received by one graduate, Ramil Bagaviev from the Tatar school №2 named after Shigabutdin Mardzhani at the Kazan Federal University. Ramil passed Russian, computer science and physics for 100 points and math for 99 points. The student studied in Tatar for all 11 years.

The number of student with 100 points in the math profile level increased up to 30 people. According to R. Burganov, this is the best result for all the years of regular USE.

Among all cities and districts of the republic, the highest number of 100-points results were obtained by Kazan school graduates (94 people), Naberezhnye Chelny is second (25 graduates), Zelenodolsky District is third (10 graduates).

“We should keep track of the fate of excellent students. I am glad that Ramil Bagaviev, who could enroll in any higher education institution in Russia, stayed in Kazan”, said R. Burganov.

Compared to the previous year, the number of 100-points students in Russian decreased from 99 to 72 people. This trend is typical not only for Tatarstan, but also for the whole country, noted the speaker.

Some of the graduates this year could not score the minimum number of points on the exam. In the main exam period, 239 people were not over the minimum threshold; this is almost 1.5% of all graduates of the republic. 6 people could not pass Russian, 179 graduates could not pass profile mathematics, 54 people – basic mathematics. All of them were allowed to retake on June 24 and 26. Following the results of the retake, 18 graduates did not pass the threshold and did not receive a certificate of secondary general education. They will be able to retake Russian and basic mathematics in September. If they pass the minimum threshold of points, they will receive certificates. Last year, 47 Tatarstan graduates failed to collect the minimum number of points.

Tatarstan students prefer exact sciences when choosing subjects for the Unified State Exam. As R. Burganov noted, the proportion of graduates who have passed the profile mathematics exams has traditionally been high – 60% of students. 25.5% of graduates passed the physics exam, and 16% took chemistry. The share of graduates who have passed informatics, biology and foreign languages is slightly lower than the all-Russian indicator. At the same time, the share of students in humanitarian subjects is significantly lower in Russia. Slightly more than 1% of graduates took geography, about 5% took literature, almost 39% took social studies, and about 10% of students chose history. “The preference of children who have chosen exact subjects for exam shows their desire to study further in engineering and technology”, said the Minister of Education and Science of the RT.

In total, this year, the Unified State Examination was passed by 15976 graduates in Tatarstan. In Kazan, 16996 high school students were admitted to the final state attestation; 11230 students in 9 grades and 5766 in 11 grades. 131 examinations points were prepared for examinations, including 51 points at home for children with disabilities.
