On March 9, a celebration of Maslenitsa will be held near the Family Center “Kazan”

A fair, master class on walking with stilts, slides, games, and competitions organized for the citizens.

(KZN.RU, February 22). On March 9, the festival of the Slavic culture “Wide Maslenitsa – 2019” will take place on the territory of the Family Center “Kazan”. The program includes a theatrical performance with the participation of fairy-tale characters, the traditional ritual of burning dummies of Maslenitsa, a concert and entertaining game program for children and adults, winter fun with a prize draw, a competition, dances, and games.

A fair of products of arts and crafts masters will be prepared for the citizens, stalls for the sale of works of folk art will operate. Anyone can take part in master classes on walking with stilts, folk dances, making charms and commemorative coins.

Several sites will open on the territory of the ice town: the folk with Russian folk games and fun, competitive and games for horse and pony riding. Citizens will be able to visit the rollercoaster rides and ice slides.

Folk singers and dancers will perform on the main stage, Kazan citizens will see performances with elements of circus art, the Petrushka Theater, as well as the main fragments of traditional Slavic festive culture.

Guests will be treated pancakes and gingerbread, cooked according to old Russian recipes.
