<p> (KZN.RU, June 5). 9 out of 10 roads that scored the maximum number of votes in the interactive project “Broken Road Map” have been repaired in Kazan. In total, 366 sites were added to the map in the capital of Tatarstan. 132 were repaired, and 46 are in the repair plans. </p> <p> The goal of the project “Broken Road Map” is to repair the roadway, taking into account the opinions of citizens. First of all, inspectors pay attention to how many roads from the top-10 national rating are repaired. Magistralnaya, Akademik Kirpichnikov, Akhtyamov, Ametyevskaya, and Levo-Bulachnaya are among such streets in Kazan. Most of the roads that are still in need of repair are in the private sector. </p> <p> 538 roads in the RT were added to the map and more than 20 thousand votes were collected. The high voting activity helped to identify priority streets for repairs, thanks to which 143 plots have already been repaired, according to the project website. </p> <p> “The most important difference between Kazan and other cities is almost one hundred percent of the result by the requests of citizens, a high percentage and good interaction with the “Broken Road Map”. But one should not forget about road safety in those areas where repairs are already underway, because there should be no pits even during repairs”, said Alexander Vasiliev, the coordinator of the project “Road Inspection ONF/Broken Road Map”. </p> <p> This year, 3 billion 250 million rubles have been allocated for road works. 2 billion 250 million rubles have been allocated from the republican budget and another 1 billion rubles from the federal budget. Under the federal program “Safe and high-quality roads”, it is planned to repair the road surface of 32 city and settlement streets and 19 sidewalks with a total area of 674 thousand square meters. The list of objects, first of all, included the streets with the most negative opinions of citizens in the system “People's Control”, the interactive project “Broken Road Map”, and the public movement “People's Front”. </p>
