Registration for Total dictation will start on October 8

World literacy action will be held in three formats: face-to-face, distance and #pishemdoma.

Tomorrow, October 8, registration for the world literacy action “Total dictation” will start. This year Kazan residents and citizens of other cities will test their knowledge of the Russian language on October 17.

Total dictation will be held in three formats. According to the website, residents of cities with stable epidemiological situation will participate face-to-face and will write a dictation on city sites. It will also be possible to write a dictation online on the website, listening to the reading of the text live. Besides, a format #pishemdoma is available. It implies that the participant will write a dictation with a branded pen on letterhead (it can be taken at distribution points) by hand and then submit it for checking at one of the offices. The addresses of offices are available on the website of Total dictation.

Registration for all three formats will start on October 8 at 5.00 on the website of the action, and will last until October 17.

According to the organizers, registration for the online format and #pishemdoma is optional but preferable. In person participation in Total dictation, requires prior registration.
