<p> (KZN.RU, May 2). The festival “Music of Victory in Parks and Squares” will take place in Kazan on May 5. On this day, brass bands from all over the republic will perform on the stage in the Gorkinsko-Ometyevsky forest. There will be more than 10 bands from Kazan, Almetyevsk, Mendeleevsk, Kukmor, Mamadysh, Sabinsky and Sarmanovsky districts. Citizens can listen to the music of the war years in a live performance and also join the dance flashmob. </p> <p> Traditionally, the main theme of the May open-air will be the music of the war years, familiar and well-loved front-line songs, which symbolize the strength, resilience and vitality of the generations of the war years. The program of the concert will also include pop and jazz compositions, orchestral classics. The festival will end with a modern music program performed by the brass ensemble “Just Brass”. Kazan bands that will take part in the music marathon will include the orchestra of the music school №6, the city women's jazz orchestra “Fantasia”, the Kazan Conservatory brass ensemble, and vocal bands of the Kazan Aukhadeev College of Music and soloists from the Kazan Conservatory. </p> <p> In addition to the music program, the organizers have planned actions with the participation of the public organizations Young Guard and the Victory Volunteers. The issue of the newspaper, dated May 9, 1945, will be distributed to guests of the festival. Everyone will be able to immerse themselves in the events of the most important Victory Day and imagine what people experienced on that distant memorable day.
