May 5: Kazan celebrates the Victory

Residents of the capital of Tatarstan can attend rallies, concerts, and sporting events.

(KZN.RU, May 5). Today, rallies, concerts in the houses of culture and sports events are organized in Kazan as part of the celebration of the 73rd anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The festive day will begin with the rallies dedicated to the Victory Day. The events will be held from 10 am in Boriskovo, near the monument and the chapel in Mirny, at the monument to R. Zorge in the Glory Square, at the monument dedicated to the dead seamen-submariners at Fuchik Street, №40. At 11 am, the rally will begin at the monument-stela in the Petrovsky Village.

There will also be competitions in triathlon on this day, which the sports school “Smena” dedicated to the Victory Day. Songs of the war years will be performed at the concert “May Waltz” in the park “Kaleidoscope”. The event starts at 11 am.

At 2 pm, everyone is invited to the concert “Victory lives in the heart of everyone” in the HoC in Mirny. At the same time, flashmob “Star of Victory” will be held in the park “Sosnovaya Roscha”. The participants will line up in a giant star in memory of the price, which was paid for the victory, and the great holiday on May 9. The holiday will continue with a concert in the HoC “Voznesenskoe” at 6 pm.
