The campaign “Health Ski Day” starts in the Gorkinsko-Ometievsky forest on December 5

Children with disabilities will take part in it.

(KZN.RU, November 23). On December 5, the Gorkinsko-Ometievsky forest will host the weekly campaign “Health Ski Day” for children with disabilities. Its goal is to promote and popularize cross-country skiing, to increase the role of physical culture and sports in the comprehensive and harmonious development of the personality of children with special needs.

In winter, thanks to this action, more than 300 participants will be able to ski and join the sport, including students of the Kazan boarding school №11 for orphans and children left without parental care, with disabilities, students of the Kazan boarding school named after E. Lastochkin, the correctional school №142, and the Derbyshkinsky orphanage for mentally retarded children.

Skiing lessons, master classes of leading athletes of Kazan on skiing, and the tea party in a park cafe will be held in the framework of the Health Ski Day. Also, participants in the action will be able to rent ski equipment and take a picture in the photo zone.

The action was organized by the administration of the Sovetsky district and the Kazan Federation of ski racing and biathlon.
