The Days of Japanese Culture in the RT will start in Kazan on October 30

The event includes exhibitions, film screenings, master classes, cosplayers, and much more.

(KZN.RU, October 26). On October 30, the Days of Japanese Culture in the RT will start in Kazan. Events will be key in the cross-year of Russia in Japan and the year of Japan in Russia.

The Kazan Kremlin will be the first to show the Japanese culture in the project at the exhibition “Culture without Borders”. There, you could see the works of famous Japanese and Kazan artists, calligraphers, icon painter, master of leather, and others. A performance fr om the Japanese band ORIENTARHYTM. Demonstration performances by European kendo champions will be presented at the same venue, and the Youth Orchestra “SFORZANDO” will perform Japanese music for Miyazaki anime films.

On October 30, the Japanese group ORIENTARHYTM will present the projection show “SHU-HU-RI” at the youth center “Ak Bars”.

On October 31, the Kazan Tatar State Theater of the Young Spectator named after G. Kariev will give a performance based on the legends of the “Crane” performed by the Moscow Theater “Aparte” with the participation of Japanese actress Tomomi Orita. An exhibition of the etchings of the best Russian modernity Nadir Almeev dedicated to Hiroshima, will open in the National Museum of the RT.

In addition, the first mass visit of Japanese cosplayers to Russia is planned as part of the Days of Japanese Culture in the RT. Thus, the youth center “Salat” will host a joint action with the participation of Kazan fashion designer Katya Borisova, who studied in Japan and prepared an innovative design project “East Synergy based on works by Baki Urmanche”. 10 Japanese cosplayers will take part in the defile, including Madzhime and Kaname, a member of the jury of the International Anime Festivals. Japanese cosplayers will perform and give master classes at the Zilantcon International Festival of Role-Playing Games. The program of it included a lot of events related to Japanese culture this year.

The Academy of Youth Diplomacy has prepared various surprises for students in the framework of the project “Tomodati – Duslar”. There will be master classes from Japanese designers and from the chefs of the Japanese cafe network “Roknrolly”. An international conference “Russia-Japan: Politics, History, and Culture” is being organized at the KFU Institute of International Relations. Master classes in Japanese culture will be held there. The conference will gather famous scientists and practitioners from different areas.

The cinema “Mir” will show Japanese films of the last two years: “Inuasiki”, “Scythian Lamb”, “Family for Survival” and “The Place Wh ere Mori Lives”.

The festival will run until November 9. The admission to the events is free, by prior registration in the group “Vkontakte” of the Academy of Youth Diplomacy.
