On August 30, the capital of Tatarstan will host the opera festival “Kazan Autumn”

Outstanding opera singers Ekaterina Semenchuk and Vladislav Sulimsky will perform for residents and visitors of the city.

(KZN.RU, August 20). On August 30, the IX Kazan Open Autumn International Opera Festival will be held on the square in front of the Palace of Culturologist. For the first time, outstanding opera singers Ekaterina Semenchuk and Vladislav Sulimsky will take part in it.

Residents and guests of the city will hear arias and overtures from Italian and French operas: “Rigoletto”, “Macbeth”, “Othello”, “Carmen”, “The Sicilian Vespers”, “Don Carlos”, “Pericola”, “Attila”.

The Kazan Autumn Opera Festival is organized by the State Symphony Orchestra of the RT under the direction of Alexander Sladkovsky, the creative director and chief conductor, a People's Artist of Russia. The festival is traditionally held on City Day and the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan. Today the festival is very popular and attracts thousands of people. Over the years, “Kazan Autumn” was attended by Roberto Alanya, Dmitry Hvorostovsky, Simona Kermes, Hibla Gerzmava, Lyubov Kazarnovskaya, Venera Gimadieva, Leonardo Gramenya, Dinara Alieva, Andrey Zhilikhovsky, Sergey Skorokhodov, Chulpan Khamatova, Elmira Kalimullina, and others.
