May 3: Kazan celebrates the Victory

The program of the day includes rallies and the opening of the “Alley of Victory”.

(KZN.RU, May 3). Today rallies will be held and the “Alley of Victory” will be opened in Kazan in honor of the celebration of the 73rd anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

From the very morning, the memory of the fallen soldiers will be honored in the settlements Ferma-2, Voznesenskoye, Aki, Konstantinovka, Samosyrovo, Vishnevka, Malye Klyki, Derbyshki, the square on Karbyshev Street, in the streets Khalitov, Zorge, Fuchik, and others. The laying of flowers will take place at the stele “Zarechentsam-kirovchanam” in the park named after Petrov at 1 pm.

The traditional Parade of Boys will begin at 11 am at the stadium “Tasma”. Schoolchildren of the Moskovsky and Kirovsky districts will take part in it.

At 2 pm, the “Alley of Victory” will open in the Vasilchenko Square near the building of the Moskovsky and Kirovsky districts’ administration. Everyone can share his family history and photos of his relatives and participants of the Great Patriotic War on specially installed stands. Within the framework of the All-Russian action, the St. George ribbons will be distributed to the Kazan citizens.
