Applications for participation in the festival are accepted until November 20.
On November 26 and 27, Kazan will host the regional qualifying round of the Good Wave All-Russian cultural and charity festival.
Participation in the festival is open to children and teenagers from 7 to 17 years old who have found themselves in a difficult life situation, including children with disabilities. Young Kazan residents can sing a song, play an instrument, dance or prepare a creative number in sign singing.
Applications for participation in the regional qualifying round are accepted until November 20 on the Good Wave website. The additional information is available at the link, the Department of Culture of the Executive Committee of Kazan reported.
In addition to Kazan, the Good Wave will take place in Yaroslavl, Moscow, Krasnodar, Kemerovo, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk and Sevastopol. The final qualifying round and the gala concert of the festival will take place in 2023.
The Good Wave All-Russian cultural and charity festival was established in 2017 on the initiative of the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and People's Artist of Russia, composer Igor Krutoy. The festival is aimed at promoting the creative development of gifted children in difficult life situations, as well as children with disabilities. Every year, the Good Wave brings together more than 2 thousand talented children from different parts of Russia. Regional qualifying rounds take place throughout the country. The festival ends with a gala concert, which takes place in a television format with the participation of Russian pop stars.
