(KZN.RU, May 21, Ksenia Shvetsova). On May 24, a city holiday “Farewell Bell” will be held at the Kremlin embankment. Graduates will come to greet their teachers, class leaders, school principals, and rectors of the city's universities. Airat Faizov, the chairman of the Committee for Children and Youth Affairs, said at the Business Monday that the apotheosis of the holiday will be a school waltz performed by 300 graduates and 150 more dancing couples.
On this day, the best schoolchildren will also be awarded: the winners of the All-Russian and international profile Olympiads and their teachers. Kazan holds the third place in the ranking of cities for the fourth year in a row by the results of the All-Russia Olympiads of schoolchildren after Moscow and St. Petersburg, noted A. Faizov. He said that another good tradition for the capital of Tatarstan was summing up the results of the city project “Diary of Good Deeds”. The most active participants will receive diplomas and souvenirs from Good Kazan.
A gift to the graduates will be the performance of Hannah, the famous performer, the winner of the Music Box-2017 Prize, laureate of Muz-TV and the Golden Gramophone and the leader by the results of the survey of Kazan schoolchildren.
Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, instructed the relevant departments during the event to pay special attention to security issues. “For the third time, we hold the Farewell Bell on the Kremlin embankment loved by our citizens, children, and graduates. The most important issue is security. I ask you to conduct a separate briefing with school principals and the students”, I. Metshin said and wished the children success in preparing and passing the final exams.
