About 600 people from 62 countries of the world will take part in it.
(KZN.RU, January 14). From 21 to 27 of January, Kazan will host the Preparation Week for the World Championship on Professions by the WorldSkills standards. About 600 people from 62 countries will attend the event.
Participants of the Week will be the board of directors, the WSI secretariat, heads of delegations from WSI member countries, technical and official delegates, site administrators, competency managers, team leaders, reviewers, representatives of the Shanghai 2021 organizing committee, partners, and others.
Within the framework of the Week, it is planned to consider the issues of preparation for the championship: a technical building of a competitive area, provision of services to client groups, preparation of competitive tasks, implementation of an affiliate program, approval of infrastructure sheets, etc.
Also, participants will visit the competition site of the championship the International Exhibition Center “Kazan Expo”, get acquainted with the infrastructure and services at the facility, take part in a tour of hotels and the WorldSkills Village. In addition, the program of the event will launch an educational program to increase the prestige of working professions and improve the vocational guidance “One School, One Country”. The WorldSkills lessons will take place in a number of educational institutions in Tatarstan.
The opening of the countdown to the start of the world championship is also scheduled for the Week, reports the press service of the organizing committee of the WorldSkills Kazan 2019.
The 45th World Skills Championship 2019 will be held in Kazan from 22 to 27 of August. More than 1600 contestants from more than 60 countries of the world will take part in and compete in 56 competencies.
