14500 people registered to participate in the Kazan “Russian Ski Track-2018”

1400 athletes are going to pass the GTO standards for running on skis.

(KZN.RU, February 8). 14500 sports fans have already been registered at the All-Russia mass race “Russian Ski Track-2018”, which will be held in Kazan on February 10.

This year the launches will take place on few sites: the Gorkinsko-Ometyevsky forest for residents of the Sovetsky, Privolzhsky, and Vakhitovsky districts, in the floodplain of the Kazanka River along Gavrilov Street for residents of the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts.

The main start of the “Russian Ski Track-2018” in the capital of Tatarstan will be given in Yudino at the stadium “Locomotiv”. Residents of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts, heads of republican and city services and departments, and all those wishing to pass the ski-running standard of the All-Russia physical culture and sports complex “Gotov k Trudu I Oborone” will take to the ski trail. The GTO that will become the hallmark of the start in Kazan. 1400 people will pass the standard for skiing in accordance with their age category. An extensive cultural program, prize drawings, riding on horse sleighs will be prepared for those who will come to support the athletes, said the organizers.

To participate in competitions you need to register in the press center of the Central Stadium and get a starter kit. The center opened from 10 am to 4 pm until February 9 inclusive (Tashayak Street, №2a, phone (843) 590-91-62).
