On November 14 the Regional Championship WorldSkills will be opened in Kazan

The winners will enter to Republic combined team for participation in the All-Russian phase of the World Championship.

(KZN.RU, November 8, Ksenia Shvetsova). On November 14 the Regional phase of the Championship WorldSkills will start in Tatarstan, which will be held at the 38 republic sites. Two thousand participants and experts will take part in it, and the first competitions will conduct for juniors at the age from 12 years. According to the results of the regional phase the team of Tatarstan will be made up which will struggle to become a winner on national championship, and later - the team of Russia which will represent the honour of the country on the World Championship WorldSkills-2019 in Kazan. 

The championship will take place in 136 categories: in 83 categories of WorldSkills children will compete at the age from 16 to 22 years and for the first time the juniors not older than 16 years will participate at 53 categories. The competitions will take place for children from 12 and 14 years on four directions. 

Totally the 38 republic sites in 9 settlements will be used up for holding of the World Championship. Besides Kazan competitions will take place in Almetevsk, Zelenodolsk, Naberezhnye Chelny, Bugulma, Tetyushi, Sarmanovo and other settlements. 

136 experts will be attracted for championship refereeing, 26 from them will arrive from other regions of the country. 

On the basis of the Regional phase combined team of the Republic of Tatarstan will be generated, selective competitions to right to participate in final will pass in March-April of the next year. The final of national championship will hold from 20 to 24 of May, all conditions and the situations of the World Championship phase will be processed which will pass in Kazan from 22 to 27 of August in 2019.
