Night Bike Fest will take place in Kazan on August 13

<p> A large-scale excursion Night Bike Fest will take place in Kazan on the night of August 13-14 and will be devoted to the digitalization. The 17 km long route will run across the historical part and over-river district of the city. People from other cities will also be able to take part in it – for the first time advertising campaign with an invitation to the bike fest was launched in Volgograd, Nizhny Novgorod and Ufa, and residents of St. Petersburg will be informed about the event as well. </p> <p> As Daria Sannikova, Director of the Kazan Tourism Development Committee, noted today at the Business Monday meeting in the Executive Committee, the cycling festival traditionally brings together many participants – both fans of a healthy lifestyle and those who want to learn more about the city. </p> <p> The participation in the festival is free of charge. Registration will be available on kazan-velofest.ru from 5 to 13 August. The gathering of participants will begin at 20:00 on the 1 May Square, and the start of the night bike ride is scheduled for 22:00. An entertainment program with DJs sets and a food court will be organized for the visitors. </p> <p> Daria Sannikova reported that three stops are planned along the route of the bike fest, during which participants will be able to rest and refresh at the Kazan Family Center, the Ak Bars Arena stadium and on the Kremlin Embankment. The tour will be broadcasted live on the Kazan radio station on 102.8 FM – announcers will tell interesting facts about the city. </p>
