(KZN.RU, April 12). On April 13, an experiment film “2009” by Kazan photographer Sergey Maksimov will be shown at the Gallery of Modern Art. The beginning of the session is scheduled for 6.30 pm.

The film begins in the morgue. The main character did not immediately realize that he was dead. He tries to talk to people, but they do not notice him. The only one who communicates with him is a pathologist. The main character learns that he is the 2009th patient of this surgeon and that life after his death did not stop. So, people even suspect that at any moment each of them could be the 2010th.

As the author of the film says, the theme is just an observation from outsiders. Work on the film lasted two years. Kazan photographers and the musicians of the band “Medvezhy Ugol” played in the film. And the role of the protagonist was played by artist Roman Belyaletdinov, reports the press service of the State Museum of Fine Arts of the RT.
