(KZN.RU, November 29). On December 1, Kazan will host the festive opening of the longest skating rink in Europe, more than 1 km long, which is located on the Kremlin Embankment.
A holiday will take place in honor of the rink opening. The citizens will see a bright program and a solemn turning of all the lights on the skating rink, which will be turned on by the stars of the Tatar stage Gulnaz Safarova and Ilsiya Badretdinova.
This year, the rink will have a retro atmosphere, and visitors can plunge into the rhythms of past years. This season will be decorated with vivid memories and music from good Soviet films and hits of the 80s.
Innovations have been introduced in the work of the rink. The free admission is provided for pensioners. In addition, free coaching services will be available for visitors, which can teach everyone to skate. It will work every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7 pm to 9 pm.
Kazan citizens will be able to purchase tickets to the entrance with their skates and skate rental. And every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6 pm to 9 pm, there will be an animation program with the participation of retro-animators. They will entertain the guests of the rink, hold retro-disco, games, and much more.
The skating rink will work on weekdays from 4 pm to 10 pm, on weekends from 12 pm to 10 pm. The technical break from 4 pm to 6 pm. Before the technical break, the rental of skates stops at 2.45 pm, reports the marketing department of the Kremlin Embankment.
