<p> Dmitry Khvostikov will chair the Committee on Children and Youth Affairs in Kazan. Previously, he worked as a chief specialist at the Department of Advanced Projects and Targeted Programs of the Administration of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky Districts in Kazan. He was chosen based on the results of an open competition with 275 applicants from various regions of Russia. The final round took place today at Kazan City Hall, where seven finalists presented their vision for developing Kazan's youth policies. Two of them were from Moscow and St. Petersburg, while the remaining five were from Kazan. A panel of experts, led by the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, evaluated their proposals. </p> <p> «We see the excellent result: the Kazan Mayor’s Office has successfully attracted creative forces from all over the country. The 275 applications for participation in the competition are a serious confirmation of our systematic work. Human resources have always been and continue to be the foundation of our work, as we work with and for the people. Artificial intelligence cannot replace the face-to-face communication that people expect in our administrations. I want to thank everyone who has made it to the semifinals. Your proposals have vividly demonstrated the diversity of our vast country. We look forward to welcome all the finalists in the Kazan team and are already preparing offers for many people», – said Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan. </p> <p> Dmitry Khvostikov, the winner of the competition for the position of Chair of the Committee on Children and Youth Affairs of Kazan, proposed a strategy focused on three key areas – retaining talents, increasing trust and preventive work with youth deviance. </p>
