<p> By the end of 2025, Kazan electric transport provided 36.4% of the total passenger traffic. As many as 81.3 million people used trams, trolleybuses and the metro. The metro ensured the main passenger transportation –about 41 million passengers. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin visited the Ametyevo and Kremlevskaya metro stations, where he inspected introduction of new technologies into the urban infrastructure. </p> <p> «The work of the Metroelectrotrans team over the past year is impressive: 81 million passengers were transported, more than half of them used the metro, which indicates the effectiveness of the system. Employees maintain the most sophisticated technological equipment and ensure a high level of security. We are focused not only on rolling stock renewal, but also on new technological solutions, including the use of artificial intelligence. All this should ensure the quality of service for residents and tourists», – Ilsur Metshin emphasized. </p> <p> Today, Metroelectrotrans remains one of the key carriers of the city. The company employs 1,837 people, including 62 electric train drivers, 183 tram drivers and 274 trolleybus drivers. </p> <p> The newest technologies and cutting-edge equipment ensure the safety and comfort of passengers. A gas trap is used at the Ametevo station, which makes it possible to effectively monitor the state of the air environment in technological zones. Special equipment for disabled passengers increases the accessibility of the infrastructure. </p> <p>   </p>
