More than 81 thousand votes were given for Kazan in the competition for the Guangzhou Prize

(KZN.RU, November 29). 81200 votes were given for Kazan in the competition for the International Prize of Guangzhou for Urban Innovation. Those who wish to support the capital of Tatarstan in the competition can take part in online voting on the site; you can vote every hour.

At the moment, the capital of Tatarstan is on the 9th place in the rating, ahead of such cities as Milan, New York, Santa Ana, and others. In addition to Kazan, Sydney, El Salvador, Santa Fe, Durban, Milan, and Utrecht were in the top-10.

To vote for Kazan, you need to sel ect 2 more cities on the site; you can vote once per hour from one IP address.

The winning city of online voting will be honored and awarded on December 7 at the International Conference of Urban Innovations of Guangzhou with the People Choice Award. The presentation of the finalists will be held from 5 to 9 of December at the International Conference of Urban Innovation in Guangzhou. By the results of the presentation, up to 5 winning cities will be selected fr om 15 one, which will receive a cash prize, a gift, and a certificate.

The Guangzhou Prize has been given since 2012. The 2016 finalists included Boston (USA) and Copenhagen (Denmark). Until 2018, the Russian city reached the final of the award only once (Perm, 2012).
