In the New Year holidays, the housing and communal services will use 2 times more duty crews and special equipment

<p> (KZN.RU, December 24, Ksenia Shvetsova). During the New Year holidays in Kazan, 54 resource-supplying organizations will be on duty around the clock. Compared to ordinary days, the number of duty crews and equipment will increase by 2 times. Dmitry Anisimov, the chairman of the Housing and Communal Services Committee, reported on the work of the housing and communal services sector during the winter holidays at the Business Monday. </p> <p> </p> <p> The district administrations organized the duty crews and dispatcher communication works round the clock to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the housing and communal services sector and the quality of services. The unified dispatch service in Kazan is the service “Open Kazan”, information with contact details is published on the website of the Housing and Communal Services Committee. </p> <p> </p> <p> New Year's duty will be carried by 54 organizations of resource-supplying enterprises, staffed by 100 units of special equipment and vehicles. In total, more than 250 people will come on duty from resource organizations in the case of the accidents elimination. Compared with ordinary days, the number of duty crews and equipment was doubled, noted Dmitry Anisimov. He added that all staff was fully provided with operational documentation, instructions, and interaction schemes. </p> <p> </p> <p> The maximum number of crews and the around-the-clock work of the duty personnel of the contracting organizations equipped with all necessary will be provided as part of the management organizations. The telephone numbers of dispatching services are indicated on the websites of management organizations and information stands in apartment buildings. </p> <p> </p> <p> “The timely cleaning of house territories, driveways, and roofs from snow and frost is the priority in the holiday period”, noted the speaker. In case of poor weather conditions, management companies are ready to withdraw the necessary number of vehicles and personnel for the elimination of snow drifts in regulatory terms. </p> <p> </p> <p> On holidays, garbage collection from housing and individual residential buildings will be carried out daily, and from December 31 to January 2 – in an enhanced mode. The managing organizations and district administrations are to provide access roads to container and bunker sites. </p> <p> </p> <p> A special attention is paid to the implementation of anti-terrorism measures in the housing stock and at the facilities of the municipal infrastructure. An inspection of basement and attic premises of apartment buildings was conducted in order to increase the safety of residents and prevent terrorist acts. During the New Year holidays, representatives of the management companies will also conduct a tour of these premises in order to identify strange objects and facts of unauthorized access. Additional briefings with personnel were conducted and the protection of sensitive objects was strengthened in organizations of the housing and communal services sphere. </p> <p> </p> <p> Responsible heads of resource organizations should be on duty during the holidays, said Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan. The garbage collection and the work of all operational services should be monitored by the supervising deputies and the chairman of the Housing and Communal Services Committee. “We have enough experience, it’s not new for us. The more organized we approach this, the more thoroughly we work through all the issues, the fewer surprises will occur during the holidays”, said the Mayor. He noted that the control over the public services’ work, in particular, timely garbage collection, will be strengthened during the New Year holidays. </p>
