In Kazan, monitoring the compliance with rules of improvement will be tightened: violations will be recorded automatically

<p> The Kazan Administrative and Technical Inspection (KATI) switched to automated monitoring of the urban environment: the use of violation detection systems will allow for the prompt issuance of fines for improper facades, untimely cleaning and deficiencies in yard improvement. A large-scale campaign on preparation to the spring and summer period has already started, it will cover the inspection of playgrounds, the restoration of territories after excavation and the preparation of green areas. Artur Mukhametshin, head of KATI, spoke about new methods and key requirements for property owners and management companies. </p> <p> The main innovation of the season is the use of automatic record systems to monitor the condition of facades. The system is simple: two records of violations in two days allow issuing a decision on a fine using a simplified procedure. Property owners are required not only to repair damage of entrances that occurred over winter, but also to keep clean: wash windows and storefronts in a timely manner, as well as promptly remove graffiti and illegal ads. Since the beginning of 2025, 203 records have already been compiled for such violations. </p> <p> Property management companies are required to bring children's and sports grounds, benches, bins and fences that could have been damaged during winter snow removal to a standard condition. Inspectors will carefully check the playgrounds: the structures must be serviceable and painted. </p> <p> A two-month sanitation campaign begins in the city. Municipal services, property management companies, and residents will clean up the city from household garbage, foliage, and branches. </p> <p> KATI reminds that the cleaning of the territories should be completed daily no later than 8 am; patrol cleaning of bins should be carried out throughout the day. As many as 132 records have already been drawn up for non-compliance with these rules this year. </p> <p> At the same time, the improvement of the places where excavation work was carried out in winter is being completed in spring. All sites must be put in order by May 31. </p> <p> Control over the maintenance of green spaces will be also tightened. According to the rules of improvement, it is necessary to mow the grass when it reaches a height of 15 cm, and to remove it during the day. </p> <p> Along with cleaning and improvement, spring disinfection begins. Specialists will treat city parks, squares, coastal areas of Kaban Lakes and embankments of the Volga and Kazanka rivers. The work will begin after the snow melts completely to ensure the sanitary safety. </p>
