The implementation of the Our Yard program in Kazan has reached the halfway point

Ilsur Metshin has inspected the progress of work at one of the yards on Leningradskaya Street.

In Kazan, the improvement works have been completed under the Our Yard program on the territory of 119 out of the 466 residential buildings that will be renovated this year. Taking into account the volume of work, this year's program is completed by more than a half. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin checked the progress of the renovation on Leningradskaya Street of the Aviastroitelny district today. In two weeks, the landscaping work will be completed here, and almost 700 residents of apartment buildings No. 32, 32a, 34 and 34a will see the improvements.

The yard with an area of 15,200 square meters was formed in 1961-1971. Social facilities are located nearby, in addition, residents and employees of neighboring organizations park personal and work transport. Almaz Daminov, the architect of the program, told the Mayor that when discussing the yard improvement project, residents asked to increase the number of parking spaces, as well as to separate the yard from the roadway with greenery.

The workers have already completed one of the most difficult stages – zoning of the yard territory, after that the roads were covered with rubble, asphalt pavement works will begin shortly. The work is underway to equip the yard – workers have replaced the lighting poles and are gradually installing small architectural forms.

The project provide for several sports and play grounds for children of different ages in the yard, a recreation area and looped paths where children can ride bicycles, roller skates and scooters.

Ilsur Metshin inspected the territory and talked with the residents of the houses to find out their opinion about the yard improvement. “The work is going according to the approved schedule, the workers are doing everything quickly and efficiently. The yard has already become more beautiful. The architects of the project took into account all our wishes,”- Zulfiya Gazizova, who lives in one of the houses on Leningradskaya Street, told the head of the city

The overhaul of the house No. 34a on Leningradskaya St. was carried out on 49%

Alongside the complex improvement of the yard, the overhaul of the five-storey house No. 34a on Leningradskaya Street, built in 1967, is being carried out. Now the contractor is updating the front of the house and utilities, it will also have to repair chimneys and entrances. As of today, the house has been renovated by 49%.

The Mayor of Kazan visited one of the residents of the house Lyubov Goryukhalova. She told the head of the city that she has been living in the house for 55 years, since it was built, and overhaul have never been carried out here. Recently, the sewer system was replaced in her apartment.

“We will not only repair your house, but also landscape the yard to improve living conditions in the complex,”- the Mayor said.

In 2003, the roof was changed in the house, but there was a leak on the roof. However, the roof repair was not included into the renovation program. During the conversation with the residents of the house, the head of the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinsky districts Fanis Nurmukhametov promised that the roof would be updated, now this issue is being resolved.

In 2022, the renovation program will be carried out at 161 Kazan residential buildings, today the work has been completed by 29%.

Together with the Mayor, the progress of work was inspected by Deputy heads of the Executive Committee of Kazan Igor Kulyazhev and Iskander Giniyatullin.
