<p> The visiting session of the city anti-crisis headquarters was held by the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin at the AO Nefis Cosmetics, which has been successfully competing with global corporations for almost 25 years and is one of the leaders in the production of household chemicals in the country. The issues of the sustainability of the company's work were discussed with the management of the company, as well as modernization, the ability of import substitution and the preservation of jobs - today more than 2,500 people work at Nefis Cosmetics. </p> <p> Ilsur Metshin looked around the liquid detergents line, where a full cycle of production of laundry gels and dishwashing soaps is provided: the company also manufactures plastic containers for its products. This year, it is planned to complete a project to increase the production capacity of laundry gels from 4.5 thousand to 11 thousand tons per month. The Mayor also got acquainted with the work of a smart warehouse. Ilsur Metshin was presented with novelties in the dry-cleaning products line, in particular, an innovative, fully biodegradable cardboard packaging of washing tabs. The Mayor was also shown new dishwashing soaps with environmentally friendly soft SAS. </p> <p> “We produce the vital goods: washing powders and gels, dishwashing soaps, dish washing tabs and much more - over 600 items. The geography of exports is very extensive. Last year, in addition to the territory of Russia, we supplied our washing powders, soaps and dishwashing detergents to 19 countries: from Latvia to India and China. To ensure the competitiveness of the enterprise, we are investing significant funds in the modernization of production, for these purposes in 2021, Nefis Cosmetics has allocated over 600 million rubles”, - said Dina Lavrikova, Director General of the company. </p> <p> Director General of Nefis Cosmetics noted that the company does not plan staff reductions, on the contrary, it is planned to hire additional specialists. “We have a reserve of production capacities, and due to the vast experience in the operational implementation of investment projects, we will be able to provide household chemicals not only to Tatarstan, but also throughout the country.” Dina Lavrikova clarified that according to the results of 9 months of 2021, workforce productivity at Nefis Cosmetics increased by 24%. The average monthly salary has increased by 14%. </p> <p> Nefis Cosmetics is one of the leaders in the production of household chemicals in Russia. It is very important to ensure the sustainability of the work of the company in the new conditions, as well as import substitution. A developed petrochemical cluster has been created in our republic, which allows to establish supplies of certain types of raw materials from the enterprises of the republic. We are sure that the industry of Kazan and Tatarstan has a safety margin. Import substitution should be provided shortly,” - Ilsur Metshin emphasized. </p> <p> For reference, a city anti-crisis headquarters has been established in Kazan, which will develop solutions to support the municipal economy. </p>
