The Mayor of Kazan inspected the progress of the improvement of the residential complex at 33-Voenny Gorodok

A kindergarten for 220 children is under construction in the 33- Voenny Gorodok residential area in the Privolzhsky city district. The main construction work has been completed, and interior and exterior decoration is underway at the site. The facility, with an area of 3,800 square meters, will accommodate 12 groups of children aged 3-7 years. The preschool is being built on the picturesque banks of the Monastyrskaya Bayou, which now has a recreational park for the residents of the area. Today, representatives of the city and regional media visited the site during a press tour led by Mayor Ilsur Metshin and got acquainted with the comprehensive development of the territory.

The construction of a new kindergarten will allow to place children living in the area.

«This is a long-awaited development that has been a dream for me as the mayor and parents who have chosen to live in this area, because social infrastructure continues to develop alongside the introduction of new housing. A wonderful kindergarten for 220 children will start working here at the end of September,»- the Mayor of Kazan emphasized.

The construction of the kindergarten began in April. The construction work has been completed, and the workers have begun to interior works.

The two floors of the kindergarten will accommodate 12 groups of children aged 3 to 7 years old. Music and sports rooms, as well as multi-lingual and creative classrooms, will be equipped here. Special attention will be paid to the environmental education of preschoolers in the kindergarten. An ecological trail will also be set up in the surrounding area, which will include a route passing through various natural features.

The Tatinvestgrazhdanproekt designers supported the environmental concept and helped to develop the final design for the institution. The design will feature environmental themes, using soft pastel colors, wooden decorative elements, and illustrations of the forest and its inhabitants.
