The fair will include lectures, master classes on the most important issues, inviting representatives of tax authorities, experts from the All-Russian public organization “Opora Rossii”, representatives of the Self-Employed Support Center and other specialists, said A. Valiakhmetov. “Counseling on topical issues will be organized both for those who have already decided to legalize their business, and those who are still thinking about it”, noted the speaker. “We also invited banks to the event to discuss the city’s lending program”.

Thus, citizens could register as self-employed to participate in a large-scale market, which will be held on June 30 in the Gorkinsko-Ometievsky forest.

“Step by step, we need to make clear and transparent work conditions for the self-employed. As many of them as possible should go out of the shadows and use those levers, tools provided by federal, republican and municipal regulatory documents”, said Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan. “I ask you to constantly “measure the temperature” and remember that this is one of our priorities this year”.

Tatarstan, along with three subjects of the Russian Federation (Moscow and Moscow and Kaluga Oblasts) is participating in a pilot project to introduce a new special tax regime on professional income. Self-employed citizens participate in the project voluntarily.
