A.Fallico: “International cooperation is a key element in overcoming the crisis caused by the pandemic”

<p> Today, the 1^st regional session of the Verona Eurasian Economic Forum “Kazan and Tatarstan Innovative Enterprises and Technologies” opened at the Kazan City Hall. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin welcomed the forum participants. </p> <p> “I am very pleased that the regional session of the Verona Eurasian Economic Forum is being held in Kazan this year, when we mark the 10^th anniversary of our friendship with Verona – one of the most beautiful cities in Italy”, - the Mayor of Kazan said. </p> <p> “This forum is a unique public platform that focuses on the discussion of trade and economic cooperation in Eurasia. Sharing experience at the international level allows to unite the interests of cities and implement the most promising and unique projects”, - he added. </p> <p> According to I.Metshin, Kazan is a leading city in the cultural, educational and tourism sectors, as well as one of the largest industrial centers in Russia. </p> <p> In turn, Antonio Fallico, president of the Conoscere Eurasia Association (Italy), who initiated the forum, thanked Ilsur Metshin for the opportunity to hold a regional session in Kazan. He noted that he is glad to see each participant of the meeting not remotely. “Trade and economic cooperation is one of the key elements of recovery and overcoming the crisis caused by the pandemic”, - he said. </p> <p> According to A.Fallico, Russia and Italy, as well as the European Union, are economically interdependent and mutually complementary. However, the market situation is not favorable now. </p> <p> The President of the Conoscere Eurasia Association noted that innovation should contribute to the growth of indicators. </p> <p> The XIV Eurasian Economic Forum in Verona will be held on October 28-29, 2021. The regional session of the Verona Eurasian Economic Forum in Kazan was the fourth event since the beginning of the year in Russia. </p>
