Denis Kalinin assured that all pledges on grants for the self-employed would be fulfilled.
In Kazan, 46 self-employed persons will obtain grant support totaling more than 4.5 million rubles. They became the winners of the first stage of the municipal competition, organized on behalf of the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin. Despite the current economic situation, all pledges on grants for the self-employed will be fulfilled, said Denis Kalinkin, head of the Executive Committee of Kazan, at a staff meeting today.
The competition for grant support was held in two stages.
Call for applications for the first stage ended up on July 3. Artur Valiakhmetov, Chairman of the economic development committee, said that 54 applications met the competition requirements.
According to the results of the first stage, 46 winners were determined. The amount of grant support for each of them is up to 100 thousand rubles, and the total amount of allocated funds is more than 4.5 million rubles. Entrepreneurs can use the grant for various purposes related to professional development, mainly improvement of facilities, training and skills development.
D. Kalinkin instructed to allocate the grant funds to the recipients promptly.
“The help does not end here. The second stage of the competition will be completed and the next grant recipients will be determined. As planned, we will strive to support 100 self-employed. Despite the fact that we had to reduce budget expenditures, we will fulfill all pledges on grants for the self – employed”, - D.Kalinkin assured.
