Next year, eleven school canteens will be renovated in Kazan

The canteens will be decorated and equipped with new furniture, it is also planned to replace the utilities

Next year, the Department of Food and Social Nutrition of Kazan, together with the Department for Maintenance of Social Institutions of Kazan, will replace the utilities, purchase new furniture, and decorate the canteens. This will be the first time that repairs will be carried out in most of the food halls.

«We are constantly repairing school canteens, completely changing not only the utilities, equipment, and furniture, but also the atmosphere in them. Each one gets a unique design. This is important for both the children and the staff. After the renovation of the dining hall, it becomes a real school restaurant», –- said Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan.

Next year, elven schools were included in the renovation program of school canteens, among them: school № 1, school № 3, school № 19, school № 25, school № 52, school № 145, school №168, school № 177, school № 179 and 180, as well as school № 67.

It is planned to completely replace utilities – electricity, water supply, sewerage and ventilation systems. The interior decoration, the renovation of all production equipment, as well as the purchase of new furniture and decorative elements will be carried out to create a unique design in the dining rooms.
