«You carry a greater responsibility on your fragile shoulders»: The Mayor of Kazan congratulates the staff of the Department of Food and Social Nutrition on the Women’s Day

<p> On the eve of International Women's Day, the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin visited the production facility of the Department of Food and Social Nutrition. The Department employs 1,225 people, 66% of whom are women. The Mayor congratulated the employees on the holiday, and looked round the progress of renovation. The Department has managed to increase warehouse capacity by 47.7% and improve the working conditions of employees. </p> <p> «We came on the eve of the International Women's Day to see your working conditions, and we are pleased with the results of your team. You carry a greater responsibility on your fragile shoulders. Today, the company provides meals to more than a thousand organizations, such as schools, kindergartens, hospitals and private educational institutions. You serve about 308,000 people every day. We are proud of your team and grateful to you», – said the Mayor Ilsur Metshin and presented flowers and gifts to the employees. </p> <p> The Department employs 1,225 people (including a food processing plant, warehouse, and administrative services). The infrastructure renewal enable the company to maintain high quality standards with increasing production volumes. </p> <p> The warehouse complex – the «heart» of the department- has been overhauled as well. Due to the elimination of non-core storage areas and competent redevelopment, the warehouse area increased by 773 square meters. This allowed us to increase the storage capacity by 47.7% and now has a capacity of 1200-1250 tons. </p>
